Andre Avedian

Director

Andre qualified in design and went on to work the with Richmond Design Group, before joining GA in 1990. Working alongside Harry, his design expertise and ability to communicate with both contractors beyond Europe into the ever-expanding global market.

Three years later, Andre and Harry decided to co-found ara Design to incorporate the contemporary and distinguished design, first-rate service and the client values which they both shared. His expertise ranges through from conceptual design to practical completion, and Andre’s mentoring of fresh young interior designers has enabled ara Design to develop and expand, both UK and internationally, never compromising on those values which Harry and himself set in place for the company.

Harry Gregory

Director

Harry has over 35 years’ experience in designing hotels, restaurants and private residences worldwide, and his knowledge of the sector is second to none. After graduating from the Royal College of Art, Harry worked on product design and later specialized in furniture design at Dale Keller & Associates.

He then went on to form GA Design in London, incorporating his product expertise into interior architectural design. It was there that he met Andre, and acknowledging their complementary work patterns, and mutual desire to create a truly bespoke experience for clients, they co-founded ara Design to deliver just this. His is always an enjoyable, and accessible project design process, forming solid and enduring client relationships along the way.

Karlyn Cerdeña

Director

Karlyn established ara Design’s Asia office, having previously worked in firms in Singapore. She brought with along with an accomplished portfolio of project management experience. Since graduating in the Philippines at the College of Architecture, Karlyn has worked upon a diverse range of projects throughout Asia and the Middle East, including government buildings, corporate interiors and and hospitality provide the mainstay of her impressive portfolio.

Karlyn balances her busy work schedules with her practice of yoga and the ancient art of Chinese qi gong. She routinely travels to the western hemisphere, researching new ideas and seeking creative inspiration.
